Yes, it’s official…I am a Tumblr noob. I’ve had to go to task manager so many times because I kept pressing too many buttons and ended up freezing my computer… (i.e. I am frantically searching for the follower count? And how do you reply to messages?) Sigh…

Oh my goodness. I haven’t opened my Tumblr in a few months and I feel like a complete foreigner! The layout even changed! I guess I qualify as a Tumblr “noob” again :’) Well…I finished the school year a couple of weeks ago so I’m free (roaring applause)! How is everyone? I don’t know where the follower count is so I’m sure it decreased by 90% :) Love you all :)

It’s sort of discouraging when you lose many followers because you’re not as active because you are focusing on your academic life. I’m sorry if you are looking to follow someone who is posting a photo every second, and everyone knows very well that I am not that person. If I have to put school at the bottom of my priority list to maintain a certain number of followers, then this is not the type of community that I want to be a part of. Many of the people I have interacted with on Tumblr thus far are my age and are going through as much stress as I am. They understand that I want to finish my year as strong as I began it and that in order to reach my goals and the high standards I set for myself I need to put my blog on hold until the summer. I am sure everyone here understands what it feels like to be stressed, especially when you are in the last weeks of the school year. Thank you to those that have stood by me and sent me encouraging messages over the course of the past few weeks that I have been gone. It’s not the number that I’m worried about, it’s the fact that people are unfollowing me because my archive is growing thin.

Remember that the people behind the blogs are human too and nobody here should have to worry about it.

On a happier note…another week is over and next week marks the start of APs! Good luck to everybody who is taking AP exams or university students who are finishing up their classes. Just think about the relief after the stress subsides (temporarily!) :) <3

I'm thinking about doing the same, you see school just started in my country (I live in South America btw, so school starts in April) and I need to get really good grades because I want to study in a foreign country, I'm looking forward to Columbia in NY. Ugh enoguh about me lol, you just focus on your studies and I'm sure your real followers will understand :)

I love you! That is such a kind thing of you to say :) I have to say that not being on Tumblr really helps because I am always tempted to waste hours on the website reblogging and fixing my theme when I should be studying and resting. I encourage you to do the same in order to achieve what you want to achieve academically :) you can always reward yourself when you have time left over and come back and blog! What I miss the most about Tumblr is interacting with everyone, it’s a great thing! :) I wish you luck in your studies and I hope that you have an incredible school year :) <3

Of course I can! I’m so excited that you enjoy the music I post and that you also play piano! :) My favorite composer of all time is Frederic Chopin, a romantic composer! His pieces range from easy to very very advanced so if you buy a Chopin book you can leaf through and choose :) Some of his Waltzes, Preludes and Nocturnes are easy to learn! I have only played from those styles so far but I hope to learn an Impromptu as well, especially his first one in A Flat Major! <3 I just finished his Prelude in b minor and the notes are easy but the musicality is very challenging if you’d like to try that :) I also recommend Shubert! I hope that helps!
